The first time I saw this episode I was bawling my eyes out at how funny Shatner was as the imposter. He should play mentally unstable people more often.

I love this episode (“The Enemy Within”). The good and bad versions of Kirk finally realise that they can’t live without each other and have a little brohug in the transporter as they’re re-emerged into a single Kirk. Shatner’s acting is brilliant, if a little melodramatic, but perfect for the genre.
