Published 2023-12-07
Day 2 living at the jungle monastery as a "Nahk" or "Apprentice Monk." Dagwood talks about what it was like spending the night sleeping on a hard floor surrounded by spiders as dogs barked throughout the night and alleged spirits swirled about. All this while be instructed metaphysical and spiritual topics via Thai language by native Isan/Laotian speakers using the ancient Indian language of Pali.

Sound complicated? There is much more to it than you could ever guess so watch this and upcoming episodes to see whether the quest for spiritual enlightenment is successful and Dagwood comes out the other end with a renewed outlook on life.

It's true in Thailand there are ghosts everywhere because of the fact that they believe in them. Do you ? Up to YOU !
  • Loung Por, please stay in a monkhood as long as you can. Then tell the world, what the Lord Buddha teach you. Amen.
